The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board awarded over $10 million to the Partnership to fund projects over the next six years that are included in the Hood River Basin Aquatic Habitat Restoration Initiative. Core partners will receive grants to implement the highest priority irrigation delivery and on-farm water conservation projects, instream and floodplain habitat restoration, community engagement, restoration design, and project effectiveness monitoring. Join the Watershed Group’s Cindy Thieman, the Hood River Soil and Water Conservation District’s Heather Hendrixson, and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Ian Tattum for a review of the projects and monitoring planned for the next six years.
